Feeling Alive!



Sector-29 market is filled with ample no. of cafés and bar that picking one is a task in itself. After trying quite a few cafés I wanted to give this a try. This is right below the Molecule Bar. A little distant from the main market, it has made its spot in a corner. 
AMBIENCE
The place is dim lit and very well crafted. In front of the entrance you can see the DJ playing the hip songs and a hanging guitar on the wall. They have a variety of seating from which you can choose. Big LED's for your enjoyment and positive posters on the wall that makes you feel alive. The place can easily cater to 40-50 people at a stretch.
FOOD
  • Brownie Shake - Brownie placed on the top with vanilla ice cream, the shake wasn't thick enough. Just average!
  • Cooling Equator - Prepared with berry crush, sweet n sour mix and basil leaves. This was a balance between the sweet and sour taste. Pretty good! 
  • Mini Vada Pav - I loved these cute Vada Pav. They were small in size but the taste was lip smacking! 
  • Fish Amritsari -  No amritsari touch could be felt. The fish was soft but the pieces were not that crisp. Didn't like them!
  • Cheesy Jalapeno Poppers - I loved making a video of the Cheese pull but it tasted just average!
  • Chicken Shish Taouk - This is a traditional marinated Chicken shish kebab of Middle Eastern cuisine. Served with pita bread, the chicken was soft and tasted quite good.
  • Pasta - Mix sauce penne pasta served with garlic bread. The pasta was very dry. Didn't feel like eating much of it. Not recommended! 
DESSERT
  • Trifle Sundae - This was layered up with strawberry syrup, fruits, and whipped cream with berry on top. Could have been better without strawberry syrup in it.
  • Chocolate Mudslide - This was the highlight of the visit. Chocolate mudslide with vanilla ice cream on top! it was delectable!
SERVICE

The staff was very courteous and the service was decent enough.
OVERALL
After the visit, I can easily recommend this place to others who want to try new options in Sector-29. Pleasant Ambience. Decent Food. Good Service. I'm good to go!

  Weekend or not, Date is Sorted! Are you a fan of luxurious interiors, perfect lighting and fine dining? Then you can continue reading this blog. If not, still give it a read and let me know if you were convinced later. Garden Galleria Mall is loaded with Clubs, lounge, Microbreweries, restaurants and what not. But the highlight for this outlet is their visually appealing interiors and the fine dining touch is top notch.  The place is so huge that it will take you a couple of minutes to select where you want to sit (too many options to choose from). The music and live DJ complemented it as well. They have super cozy seating in one corner for your date and long sofas and comfortable chairs for partying with friends or family. Welcome to the Frenzone!

FRENZONE (IT'S A TRAP) FrenZoneD! Another café setup just at the start of the famous "Satya Niketan" lane. The name of the outlet can repel you but the ambience wouldn't. It's a small café which can cater to around 30-35 people at a time. A well lit place with paintings on the right side and beautiful design on the left. They also have a projector screen for your entertainment while you are waiting for your friends (I did).  DRINKS We started it off with Shakes and Mock tails: Red Velvet Cake Shake - Thick Shake with Red velvet crumbs coming in your mouth. A delight for Red Velvet lovers. Red Velvet Virgin Mojito - Very few manage to mess this basic drink. Thankfully, they didn't. The taste was strong with fresh leaves and lemon on the top. Mr. Virgin Mojito!
